ISTTBD-XIV 2021 is going digital!
Statement of 1 September 2020
Dear colleagues,
In March 2021 our 14th International Symposium on Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases will be taking place. However, we have followed the development of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic with concern in the recent months and weeks, and we concluded that our symposium cannot take place in the common way this time. We must ensure the safety of all participants on one hand but on the other hand do not want to forgo the scientific exchange with all of you, the more so because some relevant international conferences on ticks and tick-borne diseases were cancelled this year.
Today, we are happy to inform you that we decided to try a new format and will for the first time hold ISTTBD-XIV as a digital symposium!
