DZIF Prize for Translational Infection Research 2024

The German Center for Infection Research (DZIF) is once again offering a prize for translational infection research this year. Scientists can apply to the DZIF Academy until October 6, 2024. Prize money of 5,000 euros will be awarded for scientifically outstanding achievements in the field of translational infection research.

The application is open to all scientists working in Germany who have contributed significantly to a research area of infection research; a project activity at the DZIF is not a prerequisite. Candidates can apply directly to the DZIF Academy themselves or be nominated by a mentor.

The following must be submitted for the application:

• A description of the focus of work and the most important results in translational infection research (one A4 page)
• A curriculum vitae including previous prizes and awards
• Five selected publications
• A complete list of publications
• Two letters of recommendation
