Travel Grants for Graduate Students

The GfV is again offering 10 travel grants to graduate students who are members of the GfV and have registered for active participation in the 35th GfV Annual Meeting, March 17-20, 2026, Heidelberg. The €250 grant is intended to cover the registration fee and to contribute to other expenses (travel or accommodation).

Applications must be addressed to the Treasurer of the GfV (Prof. Dr. Klaus Überla, Treasurer of the GfV, University Hospital Erlangen, Virology Institute) and submitted by email to the secretary of the Treasurer (renate.hott@uk-erlangen.de) by February 18, 2026. The application must contain the following attachments as one PDF file:

• Short application letter with the postal address (institution) of the applicant
• The abstract submitted to the conference
• The confirmation of acceptance as an oral or poster presentation

The grant awardees will be selected and informed on short notice. In case of a large number of applications, applicants with oral presentations will have priority.
