Ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues,
The 18th Congress for General and Hospital Hygiene will take place in Berlin from April 26 to 29, 2026. The motto of the congress is: "All negative? Management of Gram-negative pathogens and other challenges".
The event is accompanied by the guiding principle "Benefiting from each other - learning together", which focuses on the professional exchange of information on current topics of hygiene and infection prevention.
We cordially invite you to share your experiences with all participants at the joint conference and thus help shape the dialog in our field.
The online portal is available for you to submit your contributions. Here you can apply with your abstracts, either for a lecture or a poster contribution, and assign your content to the overarching subject areas:
- Hygiene and outbreak management in health and social care facilities
- Technical hygiene, antiseptics and disinfection
- General and environmental hygiene and public health
- Hygiene in special situations, such as disasters and crisis management
- Antibiotic Stewardship (ABS) and Antiseptic Stewardship
