We are happy to announce that the 30th International Symposium on Hepatitis C Virus, Flaviviruses, and Related Viruses will take place in Oxford, UK from 25-28 September 2024.
The International Symposium on Hepatitis C Virus, Flaviviruses and Related Viruses is organized on an annual basis and rotates between Europe, North America and Asia/Australia. The symposium’s history goes back to 1994 and played a crucial role in the characterization of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) and the discovery of the currently available effective medication for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C.
While historically HCV was the main focus of the symposium, since the Ghent edition in 2022 other Flaviviridae (flaviviruses, such as Dengue, Yellow Fever, West Nile and Zika viruses; pestiviruses and pegiviruses) and other related viruses (such as the enteric hepatitis viruses HAV and HEV) have taken a more prominent role.
We look forward to welcoming you to Oxford! Click here for more information.
