This scientific symposium will be held in honor of Prof. Bernhard Fleckenstein, who passed away on 4 May 2021. Renowned colleagues and mentees of Bernhard Fleckenstein from Germany and abroad will highlight current topics in Virology. The meeting will give the opportunity to share memories of Bernhard Fleckenstein and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Virology Institute in Erlangen. We cordially invite you to participate and are looking forward to a stimulating exchange.
