The hybrid training event on "Long Covid, ME/CFS and Post Vac - The new G-BA guideline: How can implementation succeed?" will take place online and on site in Kiel on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. The training event has been certified by the Schleswig-Holstein Medical Association and participants will receive 4 CME points (category A). Participation is free of charge.

The training event is intended to contribute to a better understanding of the diseases and better care in line with the recently published G-BA guideline on cross-professional, structured care for Long Covid, ME/CFS and Post Vac patients.

  • Prof. Dr. med. Carmen Scheibenbogen (specialist in haematology, oncology and specialist immunologist/ Charité Berlin): Introduction to the clinical pictures Long Covid, ME/CFS and Post Vac and preparation of a treatment plan
  • Dr. med. Michael Kacik (specialist in internal medicine and angiology/ ProVascular Münster practice): Experiences from the specialist care of Long Covid, ME/CFS and Post Vac patients
  • Dr. Wolfgang Ries (specialist in internal medicine, nephrology and angiology, internal intensive care medicine/ DIAKO Krankenhaus Medizinische Klinik Flensburg): How can a hospital stay for Long Covid, ME/CFS and Post Vac patients be successful in accordance with the G-BA guideline?
  • Michaela Hach (1st Chairwoman of the BAG SAPV/ Wiesbaden): Specialized outpatient palliative care for severely affected Long Covid, ME/CFS and Post Vac patients
  • Yvonne Franke (Specialist lawyer for social law/ Hamburg): Legal aspects of medical care for post Covid, post vac and ME/CFS patients - in the light of the G-BA guideline of 21.12.2023
  • NichtGenesen Schleswig-Holstein (Patient Initiative for Long Covid, ME/CFS and Post Vac Diseases in Schleswig-Holstein): Requirements from the care guideline and current care situation for Long Covid, ME/CFS and Post Vac patients in Schleswig-Holstein

Target group: in particular all physicians who are to be offered assistance in the care of Long Covid, ME/CFS and Post Vac patients and who are covered by the requirements of the G-BA guideline. Specifically:

  • Specialists (in particular for neurology, rheumatology, immunology, internal medicine, cardiology, angiology, pediatrics, dermatology, ophthalmology, pneumology, ENT)
  • Employees of long Covid outpatient clinics
  • Clinicians

Continuing education points: 4 CME points (category A). Accreditation with the Schleswig-Holstein Medical Association has been completed.
